Disclosure

Affiliate / Advertising Disclosure

We believe trust is built in the small details. This page explains how we handle affiliate links, partnerships, gifted items, and endorsements.

Clear labeling No hidden incentives Editorial integrity Last updated: March 2026
Short disclosure (for captions / posts)
Some links may be affiliate links. If you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

SCOPE

Where this applies

Editorial decisions remain ours. We may refuse partnerships that do not align with our standards.

If we recommend something and there’s a financial relationship, we disclose it clearly.

AFFILIATE LINKS

What affiliate means

Some links on our site or in our content may be affiliate links.

This means we may earn a commission if you make a purchase through that link.

This typically does not change the price you pay.

Affiliate relationships may influence which products we choose to link.

The commission helps support our work and ongoing improvements.

  • We only link to products or services we believe are relevant.
  • We do not accept payment to say something we don’t believe.
  • When a link is affiliate, we label it clearly where practical.

SPONSORED

Paid partnerships and advertising

If content is sponsored or part of a paid partnership, we disclose that relationship (for example: “Paid partnership”, “Ad”, “Sponsored”, or similar).

Editorial decisions remain ours. We may refuse partnerships that do not align with our standards.

We also run paid advertising (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.). Ads are distinct from editorial content.

GIFTED / PR

Gifted items, samples, and free access

Sometimes we may receive a product, service, or access for free (gifted/PR). If we mention it, we disclose that it was gifted.

Receiving a gift does not guarantee coverage — and it does not guarantee a positive opinion.

HOW WE DISCLOSE

What you’ll see

  • Affiliate: “affiliate link”, “commissionable link”, or a short disclosure near the link.
  • Sponsored: “Ad”, “Sponsored”, “Paid partnership”, or platform-native labels.
  • Gifted: “Gifted”, “PR”, or “received free”.

We aim for the disclosure to be close to the endorsement — not buried.
